
How to care for your urn
Memorial urns serve as the final resting place of your loved one. It is the eternal home for their ashes and a lasting symbol of their memory. This is why it is so important to properly care for and clean the urn. This will keep it looking its best and free of dust, debris, and skin oils.

Wash & dry your hands
Before cleaning your urn, make sure your hands are free from dirt, grime, lotion and anything else that could be transferred to your urn.

Wipe with warm water
Using a damp clean lint-free towel or cotton cloth, wipe down your urn. This will remove dust and other debris, which can help avoid scratching when you are cleaning .

Apply a small drop of lotion-free dishwashing liquid
Gently rub all sides of the urn for a few seconds then wipe down with rinsed clean cloth. Failing to remove all traces of soap will cause the urn to be smeared.

Carefully dry the urn
Dry all parts of the urn with a clean, lint-free towel. If any streaks or smudges remain, remove them with a microfiber cloth by rubbing in small circular motions.
